Prince Arthur (1850-1942), Duke of Connaught and Strathearn, 1902-1903. Arthur William Patrick Albert was a son of Queen Victoria and a brother of King Edward VII. He served as the Governor General of Canada from 1911 to 1916 and was created Duke of Connaught and Strathearn and Earl of Sussex in 1874. From Penrose's Pictorial Annual 1902-1903, An Illustrated Review of the Graphic Arts, volume 8, edited by William Gamble and published by AW Penrose (London, 1902-1903). This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy on a high-quality paper (235 gsm) that is a great option for framing with its smooth, acid free surface. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface creating natural color transitions.
