A royal picnic, 1575, (1910). A 19th-century depiction taken from the Noble Art of Venerie by G Turberville, (1572). Elizabeth I's hat consists of a tall cylindrical crown, the brim is bent down at the front, and ornamented with plumes and jewels. Illustration from British Costume during 19 Centuries by Mrs Charles H Ashdown, (London, 1910). This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy on a high-quality paper (235 gsm) that is a great option for framing with its smooth, acid free surface. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface creating natural color transitions.
