'St Austell', 1860. A scene on the Cornwall Railway, later part of the Great Western Railway (GWR) at St Austell, showing one of Isambard Kingdom Brunel's (1806-1859) timber viaducts. Built from Kyanzed yellow Baltic pine from Memel, the timberwork had a life of 30 years. Illustration after RT Pentreath for Views of Devonshire and Cornwall by Henry Besley. (Exeter c1860). This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy on a high-quality paper (235 gsm) that is a great option for framing with its smooth, acid free surface. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface creating natural color transitions.
