Fuegians going to trade with the Patagonians, 1839. The Fuegians would trade their captives and their own children with the Patagonians for dogs, horses, guanoco meat, and various other commodities. From Narrative of the Surveying Voyages of His Majesty's Ships Adventure and Beagle (Vol II) by Robert Fitzroy. (London, 1839). Fitzroy was captain of the 'Beagle' on the circumnavigation on which Charles Darwin was the naturalist. This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy on a high-quality paper (235 gsm) that is a great option for framing with its smooth, acid free surface. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface creating natural color transitions.
