'Battle of Lens', 28 August 1648 (19th century). Depiction of the Battle of Lens, the final large-scale engagement of the Thirty Years War. Fought between the armies of France and Spain, the French commanded by Louis II de Bourbon, Prince de Conde (1621-1686), the figure mounted on the white horse, emerged victorious. This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy on a high-quality paper (235 gsm) that is a great option for framing with its smooth, acid free surface. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface creating natural color transitions.
