St Augustine of Hippo, 1460. St Augustine of Hippo (354-430) is regarded as one of the great fathers of the early Christian church. Born in Numidia (modern Tunisia), he was converted to Christianity in 386, and became Bishop of Hippo, in North Africa, in 396. This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy on a high-quality paper (235 gsm) that is a great option for framing with its smooth, acid free surface. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface creating natural color transitions.
