No Mistake this Time, 1877. Punch kills two birds with one stone, in this cartoon. Firstly, the journal always enjoyed a little joke at the expense of the world of women's fashion, and here the exaggerated bustle has all the appearance of a Colorado Beetle. In fact, there had recently been a Colorado scare. After immense panic, the beetle turned out to be a ladybird! From Punch, or the London Charivari, September 29, 1877. This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy on a high-quality paper (235 gsm) that is a great option for framing with its smooth, acid free surface. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface creating natural color transitions.
