Jerry Driendl captures a city’s defining essence in his breathtaking panoramas and aerial photographs of locations in the United States and Europe. Depicting the world from unusual perspectives, Driendl photographs from unique, acrobatic angles accessed by helicopter, canoe, hiking and the roofs of high-rise buildings in war-zones. In pursuit of his ideal shots, he has made yearly journeys to the same places, camped overnight for double-exposures, and waited 21 consecutive days in a single location.
