About the Art

Pauline Eblé Campanelli (1943 – 2001) painted simple, rustic still lifes that transformed ordinary objects into items of exceptional, rare beauty. Married to renowned watercolorist Dan Campanelli, she was a preeminent artist in her own right. Although prestigious galleries and art museums bypassed her works, they sold by the hundreds of thousands through catalogs, furniture stores, and print and poster shops. Pauline’s belief in Paganism, an earth-based religion, also influenced her reverence for the simple beauty in the articles she painted.

    Comments:

This piece as well as it's companion will hang on either side of my wall hutch. Used double matting with a subdued red as the inner mat and a fantastic weathered blackish frame. So beautiful. Hope we can understand how to use the Wall Buddies system to get them both on the wall evenly.

      Comments:

I love this picture as I have seen it everywhere. I also bought the print to match. The only thing I didn't like was the frame I picked as it appears "cheap" looking.

      Comments:

The paper wasn't the quality I expected - too flimsy and glossy. But the colors are clear, and I do love this print.
