    I was dreading going into a frame shop to put something together and having to deal with sales pressure. I loved being able to pick out everything online and being able to see how various changes would affect the price, as I had to keep things within my budget. I liked the preselected framing options to look at and pick from, but coming up with something more customized was very easy too. I liked that you can save your different looks online and compare to help you decide which look is best. The only thing I didn't like was being on a computer the mat colors and frame materials were hard to tell what they would actually look like, though you do get a good idea. Overall the artwork looks great and I was very pleased with the purchase and hope to order again in the future.

    I had decided to purchase this print for my room because I've always been a big fan of Dali, and I had some space to fill on one of my walls. The things I liked about the product were the frame because it matched my walls perfectly, and the print because it's a pretty nice size. Also, it was extremely easy to mount on the wall, so that was a plus. One of the only disappointments was that it looks a bit darker than it should. Maybe I don't have bright enough lighting in my room, but even with that tiny problem I think it looks fantastic. So I plan on purchasing a few more Dali prints for my other walls in the future.

          Salvador Dali’s most famous work, “The Persistence of Memory,” bears his trademark symbolism in his use of ordinary objects altered in an eerie, nightmarish way. A groundbreaking Surrealist was also profoundly interested in scientific breakthroughs, Dali (1904 – 1989) created what he called “hand-painted dream photographs” in which his fantastic visions were rendered with credible realism. Perhaps drawing his conception of time’s pliability from Einstein’s theory of relativity, Dali mysteriously offered that “the famous soft watches are nothing less than the tender, extravagant, solitary camembert of time and space.”

          Spanish artist Salvador Dali was a groundbreaking icon of the Surrealist movement and one of the greatest artists of the 20th century. His work probed the unconscious world of thoughts, dreams and perception in fanciful and nightmarish images influenced by Freud, Cubism, Futurism and metaphysical art.
