This picture was purchased to go above our fireplace which is a modern inset stove with stone surround. It is exactly the right size and the frame works well with the surroundings. It was easy to see how the finished product would look by playing around with the frame options on the website. My main criticism is that the art looks like a print as some of the colours are a bit lack lustre. I was hoping it would look more like a painting as it was marketed as having a 'vivid and sharp appearance'. I chose the low reflective glass as I was worried normal glass wouldn't work. However, I thought this element was a bit pricey and I still don't know if it was necessary or whether it has affected the colour sharpness of the print. Overall though a good product and does the job it was intended for.

    A devotee of the traditional romantic landscape, painter Art Fronckowiak’s use of light and shadow and his bright and dark palettes bring a serene timelessness to his inviting scenic vistas and floral architecture. Although he uses the modern medium of acrylic oils, his techniques are reminiscent of the Barbizon, Hudson River and Old Florida schools that call to mind Herzog, Inness and Bierstadt. Although his conservative family discouraged an art career, Fronckowiak could not be swayed from portraying the history of a bygone era which has become his living artist’s legacy. He paints from his home studio in Venice, Florida.
