      This is the 3rd Salvador Dali print i've bought from Art.co.uk. and i really can't put into words the quality of the picture itself. The paper is a heavy material, not like some other companies which offer similar products but a much lower grade of paper. The colours are bright and sharp with every little detail highlighted (which again i was surprised as i went for the large print).......something which you just don't expect from a print.
      The picture itself is thought-provoking and to me sums up the world we live in. One of my favourites from Dali.
      Again, i would advise on a sharp angled frame (not rounded or broad on the corners) and a mount to accompany such a stunning piece of art.
      I can't afford an original Salvador Dali piece......but this is certainty a fantastic alternative. Depending on your choice of frame, looks just like an original.
      Very happy again.....many thanks.

              I am a huge fan of Dali. If you ever get a chance, visit his museum in St. Petersburg Florida-it is awesome! They didn't have this print last time I was there, but this one of my favorites. The message and style appeal to me intensely. Everybody will look at it and think, wow.

              In “Metamorphosis of Narcissus,” Spanish Surrealist Salvador Dali (1904 – 1989) interprets the Greek myth in his Paranoiac-Critical style, in which he infuses his artwork with a paranoia that causes the brain to connect things which are not otherwise rationally linked. According to Greek mythology, Narcissus falls in love with his own reflection, refusing to eat or sleep, eventually ceasing to exist and is immortalized by the gods where he sat as the purple flower which bears his name. One of the 20th century’s most innovative and influential artists, Dali believed that psychology was instrumental to the creation of art, and filled his images with symbolism and meaning that could only be mined by utilizing the subconscious mind.

              Spanish artist Salvador Dali was a groundbreaking icon of the Surrealist movement and one of the greatest artists of the 20th century. His work probed the unconscious world of thoughts, dreams and perception in fanciful and nightmarish images influenced by Freud, Cubism, Futurism and metaphysical art. Extraordinarily imaginative, Dali also sculpted, and contributed to fashion, photography and theater. Nearly photographic, Dali’s art has been called the epitome of Surrealism.
