          I'm very happy with the quality. I would, however, like to see future prints only (unframed) shipped in a tube, rather than rolled by hand & shipped in a box. The current shipping method leaves 'dents', if you will,from handling in this manner.

            I discovered the cat prints by Andy Warhol by browsing this site. I have Green Sam and So Happy hanging together and they look great. So Happy together! I like that I ordered them unmatted. They look great with nice plain wooden frames, one blue, one black.

            Art innovator Andy Warhol (1923 – 1987) was a renowned cat lover, and they were one of his favorite subjects in the 1950s, before he became acclaimed for his Pop Art portrayals of soup cans, Coke bottles and Marilyn Monroe. Warhol, a long-time cat owner, published a book of cat portraits done in 1954 using a blotted line technique and colored with Dr. Martin’s ink washes. All but one of the 25 cats in the book were named Sam, and were based on the images of famous feline photographer Walter Chandoha, rather than Warhol’s own pets.

            Andy Warhol’s pioneering Pop Art defined a decade and a culture, distinguishing him as one of the most influential, creative and prolific artists of the 20th century. Originally the most sought-after commercial artist in New York, Warhol (1923 – 1987) is most known for his multiple images of Campbell’s Soup cans, Coke bottles, dollar bills and celebrities, which exalted the beauty within ordinary objects and familiar images. Working out of a studio called The Factory, he invented the silkscreening process which enabled him to mass produce a single image in his signature style. Warhol was also a talented filmmaker, music producer, commercial illustrator, author and magazine publisher.
