      I have this and its "sister" (Green Folk Bunny) hanging together in my den, near my big over-stuffed chair where I read. They are the perfect combination of whimsy and sophistication and go so well with my Country Victorian decor. I love the fact that I could customize the frame and mats to match my own home. Non-glare glass is a MUST for me! Great value!

      Rustic, warm, and light-hearted, Lisa Hilliker’s nature-inspired art draws on her upbringing in rural Vermont and her powers of observation. Influenced by Warren Kimble, who is considered “America’s Best Known Living Folk Artist,” she shares his affinity for painting on barn board that adds to the weather-worn quality of her work, as does a final antiquing process. She also uses wood or stone as canvases. Hilliker’s early teachers where her artistic mother and grandmother, and she enjoys painting with her favorite muse, her cat at her side.
