I am inspired by people who get up and do it themselves – whether successful or not. It is in the 'doing' that I get excited. Minor Threat and their DIY ethos circa the 80s outbreak of punk music is a particular touchstone for me. No excuses, no talking about it, no waiting for someone else... Just do it. About :
I love making things. I love postcards. I love collecting art. I love riding my bike. I love sitting by the pool (especially the Ace in Palm Springs). I've self published 10 books. I've toured the country in a rock band. I've ridden my bicycle across the United States. I keep 100,000 bees on my roof. I went to Princeton University. I've been Vice President at Old Navy and Levi's running $1 Billion global businesses, and now I've started my own company – selling postcards $5 at a time. Black Sheep Postal Service was born to fill the void between people's good intentions and their bad follow through. I hand-cut, hand-screen print, hand-stamp, and hand-write each postcard myself in my underground workshop in the SOMA district of San Francisco, California.
