Yuko Lau + Collections

Artist Yuko Lau is a well-known printmaker and artist. Her series Peek- a-Boo was inspired by the faces she would make for her daughter, and features brightly colored graphics of animals with just half a face peeking out at the viewer. Lau says, "I created Peek a Boos with just half of the head showing because I wanted them to be child-like without being too cutesy. I think a little mystery was what I wanted to keep."
